Performing in front of thousands of supporters was a deeply emotional moment for Makhadzi, who appeared overwhelmed by the enormity of the crowd.
“I understood very well why she was crying during her opening. You’ve made it, @MakhadziSA. Peter Mokaba Stadium was shaking because of you. You’re just a girl from the village, and indeed, you’re the Queen of Africa,” one fan tweeted.
