The Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has sent heartfelt condolences to the Ansarul Islam Family worldwide on the passing of Khalifatul Adabiyyah, Sheikh AbdulKadir Kamalud-deen.
In a statement ,the governor said Khalifah AbdulKadir was a man of immense grace, exemplary patience, and love for members of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria and Muslims as a whole.
“He was a leader who won hearts with his great qualities. He relived the patience, wisdom, and depth of the legendary Alhaji Agba. His death has left a big void which will be difficult to fill, but we trust that Allaah, in His mercy, will not forsake the Ansarul Islam and the larger community after him.
“I ask Allaah to grant him forgiveness, light up and widen his grave, and admit him to al-jannah Firdaus,” the governor said.
Khalifah AbdulKadir died on Friday and was buried the same day at his Ara- Agbaji family residence, Okekere, Ilorin.
The janazah prayer was led by the Imam Imale of Ilorin, Sheikh Abdullahi AbdulHameed.
The fidau prayer was held on Tuesday where scholars and eminent personalities extolled Khalifa AbdulKadir’s virtues of humility, kindness and fear of Allah during his life time.
