APC Applauds Tinubu, Wike On Inauguration Of Appeal Court Complex, Judges’ Quarters

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and mnister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on the inauguration of the newly completed Court of Appeal Complex with state-of-the-art amenities.

The ruling party also applauded both Tinubu and Wike for unveiling the 20-unit residential quarters for Court of Appeal Justices and Federal High Court Judges, and for the upcoming inauguration of 20-unit residential quarters for FCT Judges in Abuja.

It equally celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony by the Tinubu administration, led by Wike, for the construction of residential quarters for judges of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, billed to be delivered in January 2027, alongside other interventions designed to scale up facilities and capacity in the justice sector to meet the standards of expectation of the 21st Century.

APC national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement, said the delivery of these critical and massive judicial infrastructure projects reflects the president’s iron-clad commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, promoting the rule of law, upholding the independence of the judiciary and guaranteeing the dignity and welfare of judicial officers.

“The APC recognises that the provision of world-class court facilities and quality accommodation for judicial officers represents a strategic investment in the administration of justice, and consolidation of democratic governance.

By improving the working and living conditions of judicial officers, the administration is promoting judicial efficiency while reinforcing public confidence in our justice system.

We extend our profound commendation to Hon. Minister Wike for his unalloyed commitment, leadership, and effective and timely execution of these projects in the realisation of President Tinubu’s broader vision of institutional reform, infrastructure development, and national progress.

“On the occasion of the third anniversary of President Tinubu’s administration, this massive boost to judicial infrastructure in the FCT stands as a categorical restatement that effective justice delivery, respect for the rule of law and fostering a vibrant democratic culture remain central to Nigeria’s development and prosperity,” the statement reads.
