Barcelona Reject €30m Rashford Buy Clause, Open Door To New Loan Deal

Barcelona have decided against triggering the €30 million buy option for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The clause, which is set to expire in just five days, will not be activated by the Catalan club.

As a result, Rashford is formally set to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

However, Barça remain open to finding alternative solutions to keep the English international.

The Spanish side have indicated they would be willing to discuss a new loan deal, provided Manchester United are open to negotiations.

While Rashford’s immediate future points to a Manchester United return, Barcelona’s willingness to explore another temporary move keeps the door ajar for a potential summer resolution.
