The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has said that effective communication remains a critical component of military leadership and operational success.
Aneke stated this yesterday in Abuja, at the unveiling of a book titled, “The Master of Ceremonies Handbook: A Step-by-Step Guide to Excelling in Event Hosting and Public Speaking”, written by Squadron Leader Festus Ezenyi.
He noted that in today’s information environment, strategic communication had become a force multiplier.
According to him, leaders communicate intent, commanders inspire confidence, and institutions build credibility through clear, accurate, and professional communication.
The CAS added that beyond the aircraft, platforms, and operational capabilities, the effectiveness of the Nigerian Air Force was also reflected in how it communicates its mission, engages stakeholders, and projects values.
He said that the NAF remained committed to developing not only operationally proficient personnel but also intellectually vibrant officers capable of contributing meaningfully to national development through research, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Aneke also said that every public engagement, briefing, ceremony, and official event presented an opportunity to reinforce public confidence in the institution through effective and well-packaged strategic communication. (NAN)
