British-Nigerian rapper Dave has revealed he will perform in Lagos for the first time as a headline act, marking a landmark moment for the artist and his Nigerian fanbase.
The acclaimed musician, born David Orobosa, took to his social media pages on Tuesday to unveil details of the eagerly anticipated concerts, confirming two shows at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts at the National Theatre on October 16 and 17, 2026.
The Lagos dates serve as the launching pad for the African leg of his “The Boy Who Played The Harp” tour, supporting his third studio album.
“Lagos, Nigeria! I’m announcing my first-ever headline shows here, and we have made sure this homecoming will be special,” Dave wrote, urging fans to sign up for early access.
The announcement has been met with excitement, as Nigerian fans will finally get the opportunity to witness the Grammy-nominated artist command a stage on home soil for the very first time.
