The remains of late actor Alex Ekubo arrived in Abia State ahead of his burial rites on Thursday drawing family members, friends, colleagues and admirers to his hometown in Arochukwu Local Government Area.
His body was received at his father’s residence in Arochukwu, where mourners gathered in an atmosphere of grief and remembrance to pay their final respects to the actor.
Ekubo’s death sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s entertainment industry, with tributes pouring in from fellow actors, filmmakers, fans and other well-wishers who celebrated his contributions to Nollywood and the wider creative sector.
