ABUJA — The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election in the Ekiti State governorship election, describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of his leadership and developmental vision.
In a statement issued by the NGF Director of Media and Strategic Communications, Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, the forum said Oyebanji’s victory reflected the confidence and trust of the people of Ekiti State in his administration.
The statement noted that the Chairman of the NGF and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, described the result as a validation of the governor’s performance during his first term.
According to the NGF, the re-election was a testament to Oyebanji’s dedication to service and the impact of his governance in the state.
The forum expressed confidence that the governor would consolidate on his achievements by strengthening reforms and implementing policies aimed at improving welfare, promoting inclusiveness and driving prosperity in Ekiti State.
It added that the NGF remained committed to working with the Ekiti governor to deepen subnational governance and support broader national development objectives.
The governors wished Oyebanji a successful second term in office.
