Manchester United have confirmed that striker Rasmus Hojlund has joined Serie A side Napoli on a permanent transfer.
The Danish forward departs Old Trafford after two seasons with the club, with the move now finalized between the two teams.
In a brief statement released on Wednesday, United made no mention of the transfer fee or contract length, but simply announced the player’s exit.
“Rasmus Hojlund has joined Napoli on a permanent transfer,” the club said.
The statement added: “Everyone at the club would like to wish Rasmus all the very best for the future.”
Hojlund, 22, originally joined United from Atalanta in 2023. Further details of the agreement with Napoli have not been disclosed.
