Former Kaduna North House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulazeez Kaka, has dissolved his 2027 Primary Election Campaign Council.
Kaka launched a support group to strengthen unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
The dissolution was announced in a statement on Wednesday by the Chairman of the dissolved Campaign Council, Hon. Garba Adamu, who said the decision followed what he described as the “fatherly intervention” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after the APC primary.
According to the statement, the newly formed Team Kaka for Renewed Hope will serve as a broader platform to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through civic engagement, youth and women’s empowerment, policy advocacy, and initiatives promoting national unity, sustainable development, and good governance.
The statement described the new platform as the beginning of a new political chapter, noting that members of the dissolved campaign structure would serve as its foundation.
Reacting to the development, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Malam Samaila Suleiman, described the dissolution of the campaign council and formation of the new platform as a positive step towards reconciliation and party cohesion.
