Popular hype man MC Fish, born Fisayo Olagunju, has broken his silence on his crashed marriage to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph, saying he has no regrets about the union.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, MC Fish revealed that he married the actress at 27 because he felt genuinely happy and respected in the relationship.
“At that point, I was happy and respected. And I saw everything I wanted in a marriage and went into it,” he said.
The hype man, however, noted that the experience taught him a valuable lesson about the importance of honesty in relationships, urging couples to be completely open with each other.
“In any relationship, honesty is important on both sides. Let it be as open as a book, no matter how hard it is,” he added.
MC Fish also emphasised the role of optimism in love, stating that genuine care for a partner should eliminate fear in the relationship.
