At a time when most Nigerian leaders are increasingly becoming self-centred, Nasiru Haladu Danu is bearing the burden of the underprivileged.
From business to politics, the outcomes of his engagements trickle down to the poor in the provision of food, educational support and community development.
Consequently, he has become one of Northern Nigeria’s most influential businessmen and philanthropists. Renowned for his extensive charitable interventions, strategic political engagements and business ventures spanning several sectors, Danu has built a reputation as a quiet but impactful figure whose influence extends across Nigeria and beyond.
Born in Dutsin-Ma local government area of Katsina State, Danu hails from a family with strong roots in commerce and community service. He is known to have developed an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age, a trait that would later define his career trajectory.
Over the years, Danu has established himself as a successful businessman with interests in oil and gas, construction, logistics, agriculture, mining and general commerce. He is the founder and chairman of Casiva Limited, a company involved in procurement, engineering services, energy-related projects and infrastructure development. Through his business ventures, he has created employment opportunities and contributed to economic activities across several parts of Nigeria.
Beyond business, Danu has become a prominent figure in Nigeria’s political and public affairs landscape.
