The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, yesterday distributed 323 new motorcycles to its ward chairmen across the state to enhance their mobility.
Speaking with the journalists on the distribution of utility motorcycles in Bauchi, the state publicity secretary, Shehu Dauda Mohammed, said one motorcycle was presented to each of the state’s 323 ward chairmen under a grassroots empowerment initiative sponsored by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate.
According to him, the initiative is designed to reinforce the party’s organisational structure, enhance grassroots mobilisation and galvanise support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu, and the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Earlier, the Bauchi State APC chairman, Muhammad Hassan Tilde, commended Prof. Pate for the gesture, describing it as a clear demonstration of his commitment to the growth and success of the party in the state.
Presenting the motorcycles, Prof. Pate urged party members to remain united, stressing that unity is key to securing victory for the APC at all levels in Bauchi state.
He assured members that the donation was just the beginning, promising that additional support would be provided in the future.
The minister also expressed appreciation to party members for their loyalty and steadfast support, urging them to remain committed to advancing the APC’s objectives across Bauchi State.
