Wikki Tourists Technical Adviser Evans Ogenyi has praised his players following their impressive victory over Bayelsa United in the President Federation Cup Round of 32.
The Bauchi-based side secured a convincing 3-1 win over Bayelsa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Monday to book their place in the Round of 16.
Ogenyi commended his team for executing tactical instructions and displaying determination throughout the encounter.
“I thank God for this victory and commend my players for playing according to instructions,” Ogenyi told the club’s media team.
“Before the match, I challenged them to play the game of their lives, and they did exactly that. God crowned our efforts with victory.”
The former Nigeria Premier Football League side, recently relegated from the top flight, are targeting a strong run in the competition as they seek to restore pride and momentum.
The Bauchi Elephants will now turn their attention to the next round, hoping to sustain their impressive Federation Cup form.
