Lagos socialite Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, also known as ‘Pretty Mike’, could face legal scrutiny over his appearance at a recent event.

The Lagos businessman arrived with more than 10 models dressed in lawyers’ robes and wigs. Sharing a video of the entrance online, he said the display was a tribute to legal practitioners in Nigeria.

This act drew reactions on social media, and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, known as ‘Maritime Guy’ on X, said the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) was aware of the incident and would take appropriate action.

While some fans are defending the socialite’s style, others said he should be more careful.

Many pointed to his previous run-in with authorities, when his nightclub was shut down and searched over alleged drug-related concerns, which he was later cleared of by the court after no incriminating evidence was found.

Following the ruling, Pretty Mike expressed his gratitude to supporters and praised the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for pursuing justice and tackling substance abuse.
