Nigerian Fashion designer, Veekee James, has shared a heartfelt message to mark her birthday, describing motherhood as the greatest blessing of the past year.
In an Instagram post, she said this birthday feels special because she is now a mother. She described motherhood as the role she is most proud of.
Veekee noted that birthdays once centred on her. Now, she said, they remind her of the child who transformed her life.
She also thanked God for the lessons, sacrifices, joy and growth that came with motherhood. She described the experience as a gift she will always treasure.

This birthday hits differently because my heart now beats outside my body. Before this year, birthdays were about me. Now, they’re a reminder of the little soul who made me a mom and changed my life forever.
I’m super grateful to the Almighty God for every lesson, sacrifice, laughter, and every moment that motherhood has brought into my life. A title I’m most proud of and the blessing I’ll cherish forever.” 🤍 👑❤️
