Popular TikTok star, Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, has announced that he has fulfilled traditional marriage rites by paying the bride price of his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly called Jarvis, during their family introduction ceremony.
The development was revealed in a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, showing the couple in full traditional attire as both families marked the occasion.
In the clip, Peller wore a white shirt paired with George wrapper and coral beads, while Jarvis appeared in a red wrapper with matching coral accessories and a beaded crown, reflecting a rich traditional wedding aesthetic.
Captioning the post, Peller expressed joy over the milestone, writing: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love.”
He added that the ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship, noting: “A beautiful journey has officially begun. She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together.”
The TikToker also thanked both families for their support and described himself as “officially off the market.”
The couple, who gained fame through collaborative TikTok content and livestreams, have had a highly publicised relationship that includes multiple engagements and emotional breakups.
Their latest ceremony comes weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis at a beachfront hotel in Accra, Ghana, an event that went viral online. He had previously proposed in 2024, but the engagement was initially described by Jarvis as a promise ring situation before she later confirmed the relationship was moving toward marriage.
The relationship has also seen public ups and downs, including a widely reported emotional livestream incident in which Peller reacted to a breakup, followed by a brief reconciliation period.
Despite the turbulence, the latest family introduction appears to signal a formal step forward for the couple.
