Jim Okolo, Obi Cubana, Others Storm Reception Dinner of Newly Promoted DIG Benjamin Okolo

High profile personalities graced the recently held reception dinner in honour of one of newly promoted Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs), Benjamin Okolo in Abuja, among who are Nigerian National Coordinator, Nouvelle Perspective International and international election observer, Hon. Jim Okolo Chimezie, business executive Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana, Mrs Egbunike, the president of Nigerian Police widows.

DIG Okolo, former AIG, Zone 16, Yenagoa and AIG Department of Information Communication Technology, Force Headquarters Abuja was among the six AIGs approved for promotion to DIGs by the Police Service Commission (PSC) recently.

Vision Event Arena in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja the nation’s capital played host to the star-studded event where family, friends and well-wishers came in their large numbers to felicitate with the top ranking police officer who has been extolled for his diligence and commitment in the discharge

Jim Okolo Chimezie while speaking with newsmen said the top police officer has risen through the ranks by demonstrating loyalty and diligence, urging young men and women aiming higher in life to stand out with hard work and humility.

The celebrant, DIG Benjamin Okolo expressed gratitude to family and loved ones who came to identify with him on his elevation, saying the presence of the dignitaries is an honour he so much cherishes.

There were prayers and divine solicitations for God’s protection upon him in his service to fatherland.
