• Gugu Gumede celebrates a milestone today.

The South African actress turns 33 years old, and she’s announced on social media with lovely snaps.

Gugu remembers her late mother on her special day, as the mom died three years ago.

“3 years after losing my beloved mother, I turn 33. This birthday has been a breath of fresh air – empowering and renewing,” She wrote.

The actress further wrote comforting words to people mourning the death of a loved one.

“To anyone going through grief, never let it make you feel like you will not be happy again. It is not God’s will (nor our departed loved ones) for us to be barely surviving, but to thrive. I am proof of that. Ngisaphila. Ngisaphumelela. Praise to the Most High,” she captioned post.
