Khuzani Mpungose makes history as he becomes the first Maskandi artist to top Apple Music’s album charts.

The South African music star’s album Angidlali Nezingane topped the album chart, the first of its kind.

An emotional Khuzani took to Instagram to express excitement over the feat.

“It was the first time streaming service we released an official statement after my album sat on number 1 on Apple music where all the media picked up this issue I was touched by Apple music direct understand my comments on their statement like who guys I won’t cry,” he wrote.

Khuzani Mpungose isn’t new to success as his song won the Ukhozi FM’s Song of the Year 2023 which sparked massive buzz on various platforms.
