Sen Plang Reiterates Commitment To Education, Youth Empowerment

The senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District, Diket Plang, has reiterated his  commitment to education, youth empowerment, security and grassroots development across Plateau Central.

Plang stated this when he flagged  off the distribution of various empowerment and support items to improve education, security, sports, and economic development in his constituency.

As part of the initiative, the senator donated an 18-seater bus to Mwaghavul College of Health Technology, Pushit, and another 18-seater bus to the Plateau State College of Health Technology, Pankshin.

The presentation of the buses was made alongside the Plateau State commissioner for Education, Dr Kachollom Pyam Gang, during separate event on Monday

To strengthen community security, 21 motorcycles were also distributed to support security operations within the constituency.

In addition, over 50 grinding machines was shared among constituents as part of efforts to support small-scale businesses and economic empowerment.

The distribution also includes sporting equipment and jerseys for 10 schools across the constituency to encourage sports development and youth participation in sporting activities

Meanwhile, Provosts of College of Health Technology, Pankshin, Mr. Emmanuel Mahan, and that of Mwaghavul College of Health Technology, Pushit, Mr. Ignatius Yamson in their separate remarks said the buses would improve mobility for students and staff during academic and clinical activities.
