American Model and Artist Anita Brown has officially apologized to Davido’s wife, Chioma.

Recall that Anita Brown had thrown series of jabs and taunts towards Chioma, during which Anita even called Chioma a “pity wife.” Anita now asserts that her acts were motivated by hurt and annoyance.

Internet users were shocked when she included Chioma in the quarrel that had previously been between her and Davido. She implied that Chioma and Davido had a one-sided, sympathetic connection.

Anita continued to engage in contentious behavior after making accusations against Chioma. Just a few weeks prior to her public apology, Anita found herself at the center of a scandal she had helped to create.

She even posted an image of an ultrasound scan on her Instagram profile, claiming to be pregnant with Davido’s child. However, quick-thinking Nigerians exposed her fraud by spotting that she had stolen the ultrasound image from Google.

Recall that Anita made headlines in August when she shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing an orange jumpsuit that looked like it belonged in a prison, adding to the drama.

The wording on the poster, “Free Chef Chi,” made a clear reference to Chioma. The controversy was further stoked by this post, which drew replies from both Anita’s and Davido’s supporters.

Despite their earlier disagreements and dubious behavior, Anita has now reached out to Chioma with a sincere apology.

In her statement, she admits that her previous comments and actions were rooted in her own hurt and frustration.

In her words;
“lam going through a traumatic & tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it & don’t need to, or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. Im disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing I will say is i regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrayal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, i apologize to Chioma. I never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being he rt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.

Moving forward i would prefer to be known for the light i bring into the world.”
