Congratulatory messages are pouring in for Nigerian filmmaker, Tunde Kelani as his movie, “Cordelia” features at New York African Festival.

Announcing the news on his Instagram page, Tunde Kelani revealed that Cordelia has been selected to feature at the 30th New York African Festival which is slated for the 15th of May, 2023.

“CORDELIA SCREENS AT NYAFF AT 30! We are very glad to announce the selection of Tunde Kelani’s latest Film ‘CORDELIA’ which has been selected to be screened at the New York African Film Festival on th 15th of May, 2023.” Tunde Kelani said in an Instagram post.

Kelani’s romantic drama “Cordelia” is an adaptation of Femi Osofisan’s novella which sees romance meet politics.

It is a film set in Nigeria during the early 90s under military rule.

Cordelia also reminds us of our recent past as we giv democracy another chance.

Taking to his comment section, the likes of Femi Adebayo, Yvonne Jegede, Brodashaggi, and Samuel Olatunji rejoiced with him.
