Socialite Yhemo Lee has pleaded with Nigerians to stop comparing him to popular internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.

Recall that Netizens praised and promoted Yhemo Lee on social media after a viral video showed him lavishly showering individuals with cash. However, some felt the need to make comparisons between him and other well-known figures.

The famed Hushpuppi was one of the names offered. Yhemo Lee quickly issued a strong warning to people making these similarities, pleading with them not to do so and to avoid putting him in danger.

Hushpuppi is a character well-known for his extravagant way of life and involvement in scams. Before his collapse, Hushpuppi had gained a sizable following after making headlines for acquiring enormous money through dishonest ways.

Some online users even went so far as to claim that Yhemo Lee was wealthier than Hushpuppi. He shared his worries and a sincere request for understanding on his Twitter account.

Some others also hilariously compared him to the favorite musical artists like Wizkid and Davido, claiming he had more money than them. Others laughed at the notion that people believed he was richer than Hushpuppi since Hushpuppi had amassed a lot of wealth.

In a tweet, Yhemo Lee urged his followers and fans to refrain from comparing him to Hushpuppi. He also spoke out on the potential consequences of such comparisons, hinting that Hushpuppi was bigger than he was.

He wrote;
