A video of Marlian Record CEO, Naira Marley being arrested upon his return to Nigeria by the Lagos State Police has been shared online.

Recall that Naira Marley was arrested by the Nigerian Police shortly after his prompt return to the country.

This comes after Naira Marley took to his verified account on X, formerly known as Twitter, to inform everyone that he is back in Lagos, Nigeria.

He wrote; “ I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

Reacting to this, Nigerian police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirms the arrest.

He wrote;
“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…”

Confirming the whole arrest, a video of Naira Marley fully masked as he is been arrested and taken into police custody for investigation has surfaced online.
